We are glad to announce that we are having the Parent project available to the families of our cadets.
The Parent Project:
A 10 to 16 week parent training program designed specifically for parents of strong-willed or out-of-control adolescent children.
The curriculum teaches concrete prevention, identification, and intervention strategies for the most destructive of adolescent behaviors (poor school attendance and performance, alcohol and other drug use, gangs, runaways, and violent teens).
The classes will be given by Veronica Toledo:
Miss, Toledo hasProvided coaching in how to deal with behavioral problems in children and teenagers. Has Work with at risk juveniles in the LAPD JIP Program.

- Want to be a firefighter?
then please join us in the fire academy.
this course will cover the basic overview of the fire service both structural and wildland.
Students will benefit from active professional firefighters and travel off site for training and station visits. Students will learn everything from the history of the fire service to the basic firefighting skills.
Fire academy will be held on: July 12-16 2010
